Cashier — Haleʻiwa

Part-time available | $18–$20/hr
Hours: Morning and afternoon shifts

We’re looking for a friendly, dependable, and energetic cashier to join our team in Haleʻiwa. This is a fast-paced, guest-facing role focused on creating a welcoming experience, taking orders accurately, keeping service flowing smoothly, and supporting the café team throughout the day.

You’ll be one of the first people our guests interact with, so we’re looking for someone who is warm, attentive, comfortable communicating with customers, and able to stay organized and positive during busy service periods.

You’ll be a great fit if:

  • You have previous cashier, café, restaurant, retail, or customer-service experience

  • You’re naturally friendly, welcoming, and comfortable talking with guests

  • You can learn our menu and confidently answer basic questions about ingredients and menu items

  • You’re comfortable using a POS system and handling cash and credit-card transactions

  • You thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

  • You’re organized and able to manage multiple guests and orders at once

  • You communicate clearly and work well with a small team

  • You’re dependable, punctual, and take responsibility for your shifts

  • You take pride in keeping your workspace clean, stocked, and organized

  • You have reliable transportation and weekend availability

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Greeting guests and creating a friendly, welcoming experience

  • Taking customer orders accurately and efficiently

  • Processing cash and credit-card transactions through the POS system

  • Learning the Farm to Barn menu and answering guest questions

  • Communicating special requests, allergies, and order modifications clearly to the kitchen team

  • Helping keep the ordering and pickup process organized during busy service periods

  • Restocking cups, utensils, napkins, condiments, and other front-of-house supplies

  • Keeping the register, ordering area, and guest areas clean and organized

  • Assisting with opening, closing, restocking, and general cleaning duties

  • Supporting teammates wherever needed throughout the shift

  • Providing warm, genuine service to both our local customers and visitors
